Motivation with integrity
TidyTown Competition
A fair community competition built around visible improvement, evidence and transparent assessment.
Clear criteria
Communities should understand what is being assessed before evaluation begins.
Evidence matters
Official assessment should be tied to eligible evidence and transparent scoring categories rather than popularity alone.
Recognition follows process
Rankings, results and awards only become official after the applicable evaluation and approval process is complete.
Official evaluation
Defined criteria, eligible evidence and authorized jury review determine the official assessment. Official rankings, results and awards follow that process.
Community Signal
Public voting can show community enthusiasm, but it never replaces jury scoring and never determines an official ranking or winner by itself.
Competition status
The public competition master is not currently published as an active public competition.
TidyTown will not manufacture a live competition state merely to populate the frontend. Registration, judging, rankings, results and awards follow the defined lifecycle.
Compete to improve the place — not to tear down the neighbor.
The purpose of TidyTown recognition is to encourage visible, lasting improvement and community pride through a fair process.
